This Hindu/Buddhist discussion was held near Singapore. It produced an interesting discussion worth your attention

The second-largest Tibetan exile community in the U.S., is also home to a traditional Buddhist monastery. Gyuto Wheel of Dharma Monastery, the first western branch of Tibet’s Gyuto lineage, was created under the guidance of H.H. Dalai Lama with a two-fold mission.
On Sunday night, August 2nd, 2010 Swami Veda addressed a group at the Monastery… following is a short clip of the event.

A Regular Thursday Night Yoga Center audience was riveted to this extraordinary message. Few people in the audience were aware of the significance of these issues.

The talk is long, and eventually will be split for easier assimilation.

” The First Half explains, how our planet periodically changes and how during the last decades this change has been rapidly accelerated, not least of which is how we have mistreated the Earth!

The second half is covers  the issues and considers how we must change ourselves to prepare for the challenges that lie ahead, so that our children and their children will survive.”

“Sitting in the company of the saintly and the noble. The concept in Asia is that some saintliness and inner peace will rub off on you.  It may be a lecture, meditation, total silence, conversation, chanting or anything.”
